So It's Been A While - Plus, The Greatest Day Ever Just Happened

Sorry it's been so long since I've written...I've been busy.

Oh my gosh! Yesterday was the greatest day ever! I went to Six Flags with my boyfriend yesterday and I had a blast! Not only did I get to spend the whole day with him, I got to do things that I've never done before! See, I haven't been to Six Flags since I was four, and I don't really count that. I had so much fun! I rode almost every ride there...I didn't ride Judge Roy Scream, Mr. Frieze or the Mine Train. I did however ride La Vibora, the Conquistador, Texas Giant (twice), Shockwave, Flashback, Batman (three times...my favorite ride), the Ozarka water ride, the River Rapids, and the Titan. Yes, the Titan. For those of you that don't know, I'm afraid of heights. The funny thing was, I wasn't scared at all! It worried me a little that I wasn't afraid, but I don't mind not being afraid. I had a blast, and hope I can do it again sometime!

I've been having an ok life recently. My Mom has been driving me up the wall lately...she's so whiney! Anyhoo, I haven't worked too much, although I have to work on Saturday...almost 500 systems are going into this one school. It's going to be a long day.

I suppose that's all I have to say...I miss my church friends. It feels like I haven't seen them in forever, even though I saw them all four days ago. It's been a long week. I'll see them in three days though, so that gives me something to look forward to. Talk to y'all later!

Stressful Past Couple of Days - Plus, Waking With A Painful Lump On Your Neck Isn't Good

Sorry i haven't written. I got sick Tuesday morning and am just now recovered enough to get on and type. I was better at times yesterday, but never enough to come in to update. That, and my boyfriend was over all day taking care of me and helping me feel better.

So yeah. Since I was sick most of this week, i have a lot to do to prepare for the Shareholder's Banquet on Sunday. I've already dropped off the pictures, they should be ready to pick up either today or tomorrow. I still have to type up my journals, write thank you notes, and call every one of my shareholders to alert them of their special time. I'll get it all done.

I'd better go work on it...that and getting myself clean. I feel gross. I hate being sick. Yuck.

Mexico Was Fantastic - Plus, We Have So Many Cool People In Highschool

I had a blast in Mexico! I hung around mostly Freshmen and Sophomores all week long and it was great! We have some awesome people in highschool now...I can't wait to get to know them more!

I would write more, but I'm tired and my Mom needs on the computer. I'll get back to you with details or a copy of my journal from Mexico, whichever I feel like doing at the time, really. Talk to y'all at church!

Mexico Is Here! - Plus, The Devotion Has Been Prepared

Mexico is tomorrow morning! I have to be at the church at 5:45 AM! Ouch. I'm so pumped though! *squeals with delight* *twists fists beside face while squealing*

My devotion for Wednesday night is finally prepared. I'm so excited yet so nervous about it all at the same time...I haven't done anything like this since 6th grade. It seemed easier when I did it 5 years ago than when I did it yesterday...either that, or I forgot how hard it was. I know it'll be good for me, even if I am nervous. It's good excercise for my mind as well as broadening my horizons spiritually. I need it, I know I do. He he he. It'll be great!

Well, I have to go now...Josh is on his way over. Oh, I won't get back from Mexico until the 12th, so I won't be updating in a while (I know, big surprise). Actually, it doesn't really matter because most of the few people that read this blog are going with me to Mexico. Crowder, Sammi, Shaye...to you I say, umm... wait... I don't know what I say. ^_^ Have fun with it guys, and comment! Love ya!

Work Was Easy Today - Plus, An Unexpected Surprise

Well, I got up at 7:30 this morning, took a shower, and headed off to work at about 8:30. I drive all the way to Lake Worth, park, then walk up to the truck to see what Ovi needs me to do. John and I walk up and Ovi goes, "Bye!" and waves. I thought he was saying hello and waved back. He then proceeded to tell us to go home. I thought he was joking. He wasn't. Turns out the power got knocked out from the storms last night, and the school didn't have power. We aren't allowed to install the computers and leave them without making sure they all work first, and to do that we need power. So, John and I made the 45 minute drive back home, half-way pleased and half-way frustrated at the amount of work we did today.

I'm unprepared for Mexico. I'm so pumped about going, and teaching on wednesday, but I don't have all of my money, and I feel like the whole thing has been rushed this year. Oh well. I'm sure I'll get over it. I spent several hours trying to figure out what I'm going to teach on. I've got a pretty good idea, it's kind-of a two part thing. I know I'm talking about being new creatures in Christ, I'm just not sure as to where I'm taking it after that, or if that should be the sole thing I talk about. It's only 10 minutes that I have to fill, but I would rather have to cut off some of it than not have enough to fill said time space. I'm praying about it...God will lead me.

Oh! I got an e-mail from Lara's sister Savannah today! I'm so excited! I have heard so much about her, and I can't wait to get to know her better! Plus, she likes penguins too! He he he. This is going to be fun!

My sunburn isn't quite so bad anymore. I got some nice aloe vera at the store that has menthol in it...wow. If you EVER get aloe, get some with menthol in it. It feels so cool! Literally! Ha. I'll shut up now.

Ok, so no I won't. I have to work tomorrow too, but I have a feeling I'll end up staying a lot longer than 5 minutes. One can hope, though, right? He he he.

I'd better head off now. Comment people!
